 A new study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry has shown Autism is linked to SSRI use. The study found that use of SSRI's during the first trimester of pregnancy is associated with an almost four times increased risk of Autism. The authors point out that the explosion in Autism rates parallels the dramatic increase in SSRI use during pregnancy.
